To address one of the most common demands in small parts assembly, Jewett Automation has created the Rotary Assembly Chassis (RAC). This system links three fundamental elements together to provide a flexible solution for indexing assembly:
- A rotary indexer provides fixture/part transport
- A translating indexer provides reciprocating motion for the Central Head
- The Central Tooling Head creates the vertical and horizontal motions for the synchronized pick and place devices
