Indexing Valve Assembly System

Indexing assembly systems present one of the most efficient and common approaches to medium and higher speed production demands - often handling throughput rates in the hundreds of parts per minute. While there are a number of indexing "platforms", all are fundamentally based upon coordinated and synchronized motion between product, fixture, and tooling devices. Coordination can be achieved either mechanically or through electronics. Some of the more common indexing platforms include:

Jewett Automation has significant experience with each of these platforms across a wide range of products and industries and is well suited to helping you find the right solution for your particular needs.

To address one of the most frequently used approaches, Jewett Automation has developed a standard Rotary Assembly Chassis (RAC). This platform is ideally suited for small parts assembly and inspection. Indexing rates up to 60 cycles per minute can be achieved, allowing assembly rates in excess of 100 ppm when multiple tooled.
